About Me

HEY!  I’m Yaping. A mother, wife, and investment banker-turned-photographer specialised in family/children and fine art photography in Hong Kong.

I had worked in the highly paid investment banking industry for almost a decade. Everything changed when my daughter was born in 2017. 
 
I studied online photography program from New York Institute of Photography for 2 years and graduated in 2019. While I've been exposed to various genres of art forms, my true passion lies in children and family photography - a genuine and reciprocal love between parents and kids.

Working in a relaxed and natural style, I combine a documentary approach with skilled portraiture to take photographs that can tell your/your family’s true and unique story. I love creating simple, beautiful images with creative composition and exquisite light.​
